My name is Rebecca Montanari, and I am excited to apply for the position of PADI Instructor and Marine Biologist. I have a solid academic background in marine biology and hands-on experience in marine conservation, combined with a deep passion for the ocean and a love for sharing its wonders with others.

I recently obtained my certification as a PADI Instructor, taking an important step forward in my diving career. This achievement allows me to educate and inspire divers of all levels while ensuring safe and memorable underwater experiences.

I graduated in Marine Biology from the University of Bologna, where I studied at the Ravenna campus, focusing on marine biodiversity and underwater research. For my thesis, I studied the spatial behavior of California sea lions (Zalophus californianus) at Gardaland Sealife Aquarium. Additionally, I collaborated on a project with Turtles of the Adriatic Organization (TAO), mapping potential nesting sites for Caretta caretta (loggerhead turtles) along the Emilia-Romagna coast.

I am an adaptable and cheerful person who is always ready to take on new challenges. I enjoy working with people from diverse backgrounds and thrive in dynamic environments. With my new PADI Instructor certification, along with my background in marine biology and conservation, I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional diving experiences while educating guests about marine ecosystems.
