Highly motivated dive professional with a passion for continuous learning and
personal development, currently working towards becoming a PADI instructor.
After years of studying human movement, I found a new passion in scuba diving
and logged over 300 dives. Now, I aim to combine my love for teaching,
diving, and eventually science into a career where I can further develop my
skills as a diver and instructor. My goal is to inspire others while growing as a
dive instructor and technical diver.

IDC Internship at Phoenix divers
Ko Lanta, Thailand | January 2025 – now
Teach and assist in diving courses, guiding students through skill development and
ensuring a safe, fun learning environment. Conduct briefings, demonstrate skills, and
provide in-water supervision during training sessions. Guide daily dive trips to the
islands around Ko Lanta, creating safe and enjoyable experiences for divers of all
levels. Support course logistics, mentor students, and refine instructional techniques
while gaining experience as an instructor.
Divemaster at MolaMola Diving Center
Muscat, Oman | September 2024 – December 2024
Guide daily dive and snorkel trips to Damanyiat Islands, ensuring safety and
enjoyment while providing engaging briefings and refresher courses. Handle trip
logistics, lead try dives, and guide certified divers to create memorable underwater
experiences.
Divemaster Internship at Ocean Lovers
Taganga, Colombia | February 2024 – April 2024
Completed a Divemaster internship, gaining experience in dive logistics, equipment
maintenance, sales, and customer service. Assisted instructors with various courses,
led refresher sessions, conducted briefings, and guided dives in Taganga Bay and
Tayrona National Park, also capturing underwater photos for divers.
PhD Human Movement Sciences at University Medical Centre Groningen
University of Groningen | Groningen, The Netherlands • September 2019 – August 2024
Led a research project on neural correlates of balance learning in aging, enrolling
108 participants and contributing to five publications. Tutored a master's course on
signal acquisition and analysis, supervising 22 students. Presented research at four
international conferences and an international lab visit.
